Stealing from an Angel?!! Shame, shame!!! :/

We are blessed, so very, very blessed!! In my opinion we are more blessed now than ever before. Even though there are terrible, atrocious things happening in the world, there are by far more Angels walking among us now more than ever!! They are here to help us, to spread awareness, to help protect us and to help enlighten us, to encourage us and to help us rise up to our fullest potential.

One of the many gifts of the Angels is they will sometimes 'pick' someone who is destined to write certain books for us to have available to us - the knowledge and the messages they know that we need. They may whisper in someone's ear and tell them what to say... in the case of Doreen Virtue, that is what she said long ago, in one of her first books - that she had an angel visit her everyday and tell her what to write.

The angels are doing their best to give us the tools we need to overcome the darkness that is upon the world. One thing I have seen that troubles me, is that some people who don't recognize an angel in human form when they see them - and then steal their words, their pictures, their ideas, or their posts!! I can't count how many times either I or my friends have stumbled upon stolen work and asked the person if they got it from so and so and they deny it! They don't give them credit, they refuse to and they are speechless when asked where did they learn it from then?

I have seen many who claim to be writers, who don't even post on their wall anything original - no poems, no quotes, no "blogs" or articles... just a bunch of re-shares, pics from the internet or nothing at all for months on end. Some even have the nerve of re-wording people's posts, trying to make it sound like their own - when anyone who knows - knows the truth. One person in particular went so far that when confronted publicly, her followers compared apples to apples and saw that what she was doing, was in fact stealing and rewording someone else's work... as a result, she lost all of her followers, had to delete all of her posts and start from scratch. She lost all respect of those who admired her.

Personally, I do my best to give credit where credit is due. I've had a few people say that it's annoying or that I'm trying to validate what I say by naming my sources and where I learned from... but I don't care!! I would rather share where I learn and give the person credit than be deemed someone who would steal another persons work or ideas - especially when it may be coming from the divine angels of God!! Normal, everyday people can't always spot an angel - but whether the person is an angel or not - do they not deserve credit?? Since when has it become acceptable to take from others all of their years of hard work, research and dedication to delivering the information to help others - without giving them credit?? When I read a book and see that the author lists their sources and has a long list of books and websites in the back, I get excited!! I see that they are proud to share what they read, where they learned and how they came about writing what they believe, feel and understand to be true. When I see that long list of sources, they earn a great deal of respect from me. It shows me that they did their homework and they aren't afraid to say "I learned from ______ ."

So go ahead, take what you learn, teach others, spread the word and get the messages out there!! But please, remember the hours upon hours of work that someone else put into teaching you what you learned and share your sources... or risk losing all respect of your peers and most importantly, the divine.

Love & Light,
Shelle
